Slow response in Extra Personnal Client

Users have two large databases open at the same time,
however, a delay occurs when typing within Extra. Users
using win 2000/256k mem. Any ideas?

System is setup as a Frontend (Local Drive)/backend
(network drive) Access 97. So when two databases are
open, two occurences of MSAccess.exe are running.

Ethernet Network
