Slow print

Whenever I am online my print jobs seem to take forever
and task manager tells me my cpu usage is 100%. This does
not happen offline. Is there something inherent in ie6
that gobbles up ram? I can not believe my system is
actually overloaded - am running a dell dimension 4100
with Pentium III at 126k ram stepped up to 256k.
