My laptop has been playing all audio files absolutely fine, as of this past
Sunday. However, when I popped in a CD today, the playback was very slow. I
tried several audio CDs (all storebought) and found the same thing. I then
tried playing some MP3's I had downloaded and found the same thing! I tried
this both in Real Player and in Windows Media Player. I'm really confused as
to what to do, because I'm sort of a music nut and this is driving me up a
wall. If it was just the CD drive, then I would know what to do (get a new
drive). But since all files, even ones that have nothing to do with the
CD-ROM drive, are playing wierd, I'm sort of at a loss.
If anyone has any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!!
