I have an application where the data tables are on a server, and the
application runs on clients, with links to the data tables. The appl that
runs on the same machine as the data tables runs OK, but the others are
slower, especially at startup time. It seems that the slowdown at startup has
to do with establsihing the links to the tables. Are there some parameters
that I need to look at? Could it be related to the way the local network is
set up? Any he;p is appreciated. Thanks.
