Slow performance after updates

With the recent proliferation of worms, I used the update
tool to update my Win2K Pro workstation and my NT 4.0 PDC.

Since the application of the patches the performance of
both systems has degraded noticably.

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this ?

Yap, I am facing a similar problem after applied the Win2K
SP4. When I boot up the machine it take a while to boot
and seem to hang for approx. 2-3 minutes saying "applying
computer settings", once the machine has completed booted
all seems OK.

It always take too long to boot up!

Anyone can help on this?? Thanks.
