Slow Outlook

I used to use outlook express & liked it . It was very
fast and efficient.
I now use just Outlook for all of its other features.
It is so much slower though on my system. I realize it is
doing alot more, but it seems on the unusual side.
When I open a email message it can take quiet some time ,
etc. I have done virus scans etc, & have even reinstalled.
My computer is a 1.5G P4 with 768 megs of ram. Hard
drives are all 7200rpm etc if that makes any difference.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure you disable Messenger integration (Tools>Options>Other, at the
bottom).
