Recently I had to do a reformat on my computer.
I use Windows XP Pro
I also use MS Office 2003
I wanted to save my emails to I exported the Inbox file to a;
COMMA DELIMITED [WINDOWS]file
I also use a Palm Zire 31 for work which contains all the contacts that
I have.
After a fresh install I synchronized the Palm with Outlook and all my
contacts were installed back into Outlook.
I imported the Inbox emails back into the inbox folder.
When I double click on a contact I select the "Activities" tab to see
whats in there. Outlook recognises the emails for each contact and lists
them under the Activities tab for that contact, eventually!
That is the problem, it takes so darn long for the items to show up in
the Activities tab.
There is a small "magnifying glass" rotating to show that Outlook is
looking for the items, but it takes far too long. I don't remember it
taking that long before the format.
Is there some kind of a conflict that anyone is aware of from doing it
the way I did?
Can someone direct me to the proper and most effective way to back up
Outlook.

P.S.
I want to be able to back up all the contacts and there respective
activities like Journal entries, etc.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

TIA

Simply copy the .pst file and use File->Open in Outlook to access all of
your mails, contacts, etc.
