I am frustrated with the long wait time every time I update one cell in my
personal budget containing only 30 odd rows and 52 columns one for every week.
It was not so bad those days with Windows 98/2000 etc.
Any help?

Hi, Gord
Thanks for this prompt response to help out. My problem is now sorted!
I found out the cause of the problem as some contamination from downloaded
data from internet into Excel format. Each cell of the top row was carrying a
collapsed empty textbox which could not be removed. I did copy the other rows
to a new worksheet and manually input the data in the first row. Why is it
impossible to remove those internet contaminations from the excel worksheets?
I will also take action as recommended by you.
Regards
Wilfred
