Slow network

Recently users are complaining that the network is slow. I
have two windows 2000 servers that are both DC. I have
virus scanners installed on every machine with the latest
updates and i have a firewall installed. I checked the
servers to see if they were being overloaded but i dont
see anything unusual the CPU Usage is low. Is there
anything else that i can check to find out why there is a
slow reponse on the network. For example when users open
outlook that is slow and when users are coping files to
the server that is also slow.
 
Have you checked for spyware/adware on the workstations? They can slow
down network response considerably.
