Hi,
I have a Windows 2000 domain with a number of Windows XP
Pro clients, when a user logs on, it takes a very long
time for the logon process to complete. I know this is
something to do with their profile being copied from the
server and I've also been told WinXP copies the users home
directory from the server to the local machine. Is there
anyway to stop XP from copying the users home directory
and anything else I can do to speed up the logon process.
The network is very small (20 clients) with 2 servers,
neither is more than 2 years old (I don't have specs to
hand, but they are both pretty powerful servers)
Cheers,
John-Paul
