After installing sp2 on some of our computers, they all experience a very
slow logon. The "activating computersettings" (or something like that, we
use norwegian xp) message is displayed for about 30 seconds before the logon
continues.
Any ìdeas for whats wrong?

You might want to try defragging the disc using Windows XP's built-in
defragger. SP2 does seem to slow down even the fastest machines noticeably,
however, defragging usually brings the PC back up to speed, I find.

I had similar problems, defragging helped a little, but the only solution was
to uninstall SP2 and reinstall XP.

Now everthing is back to normal and I will not be reinstalling SP2 as it
causes too may problems.
