Slow Load at logon - personal settings

I recently upgraded to XP professional. Now, when I boot up and my log-in page comes up...I click on my icon and it takes over a minute for my personal settings to load. This did not happen when I was using XP home version. Any ideas what I have done to force this lengthly load time (personal settings)
