Hey Milly. Thanks for the advice. I will try to contact Monster.com as you
suggest. It turns out that it's not only for their messages, but also
intermittently for other HTML emails coming into Outlook 2007 from a Hotmail
account. For instance, Hilton.com sends an email confirmation for online
bookings. I made two bookings tonight. One of these shows up blank in Outlook
2007, and one does not. They were sent about 5 minutes apart (as I completed
the online bookings). When I view either message in the Windows Live Mail
client I see the full content of both. When I view the messages in Outlook
2007, the first is blank and the second is normal.
Here's the interesting bit...
When I view Message Options in Outlook 2007 for the blank message, in the
Internet Headers field I see:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
<HTML><HEAD><META HTTP-EQUIV="Refresh" CONTENT="0.1">
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Pragma" CONTENT="no cache">
<META HTTP-EQUIV="Expires" CONTENT="-1">
</HEAD></HTML>
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(I hope that doesn't HTML encode and hide the markup that I'm posting. :/ )
When I view the Message Options for the message that displays normally, in
the Internet Headers I see:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any ideas on why the Internet Headers field would show up like this???
Thanks again for your help.

Have you inquired of Monster.com for the reason for this behavior from them only?

After furious head scratching, rdessy asked:
| Hello. Has anyone experienced extremely slow rendering on HTML format
| messages? Monster.com has a service that will email me job listings
| in my area daily. I use this to stay informed. The messages cause
| OL2007 to become unresponsive for a few minutes and spike CPU at 100%
| until rendered. Only the Monster.com messages cause this for me;
| other HTML messages render at an expected rate. Thanks for any
| suggestions!
