slow browser loading?

I'm wondering if anyone can help...

When I open a new browser window (IE), the page loads
almost completely, then locks up/pauses for about 30
seconds, then allows me to navigate. It happens everytime
I navigate to a new site. This problem just started
happening a few days ago and it's driving me insane. No
new programs have been installed, and no settings have
been changed on my firewall.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

having similar problems
webpages load slowly like dial connections
tried going to internet options and clear cookies, history,
files, and on content page clear forms and passwords
this help alittle for a few minutes, than system bog down
again
don't know what causing this. spyware? maybe system
restore might help to go back to a earlier time when
things work better. i can't do that, since i have this
problem for months.

i you find a solution please post it. i don't want to have
to reformat my hard drive and start all over to fix it.

I am having the exact same problem. It will drive one
crazy. I done all sorts of things to try and stop it.
Clearing caches running defrag adding a spybot search and
destroy program, but nothing works.

This just started happening on Friday or Saturday of last
week and this is the third message I have seen on this
site referring to a similar problem which has started
recently.

I have considered removing IE and the re-loading the
program but I am hesitant to do this because nothing seems
to work
