Hello.
I have Windows XP home edition on a Gateway machine with
a 1000 MHz processor and a 20 gig hard drive.
Windows XP has been slow to bootup from the day we got
the machine; once it is ready, however, the processing
speed is actually very fast.
Is there anything I can do to get XP to load more
quickly? Gateway suggested that I check the bios settings
to see if quickboot was enabled. I did, and it was.
So now what? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Greg
