slow boot

It takes my pc approximately 10 minutes to load up fully to desktop 1.2ghz
1gig DDram 30gb HDD, I ran bootvis but it is still slow. I know AV takes a
while but this is ridiculous. I need to close sys startup apps and services
but what do i shut down?
