Hello

I have recently slipstreamed SP2 into our XP distribution share and
also created a bootable cd.

The problem is when the system has booted up and i've logged into it,
I can leave it for 5 mins without doing anything, reboot and a message
appears at login saying security log is full.

On closer inspection of the log it seems the system is constantly
logging and out of itself in a perpetual loop. No processes are
misbehaving and otherwise the system is working perfectly. Clearing
the log instantly creates at least another 3 entrys.

This occurs regardless of installation method, network install using
dos bootdisk or from CD both on a freshly formatted system. Also,
important to note that systems are not joined to the domain

I have turned off event logging, but this is not a helpfull solution
to the problem.

seasdale,

What does the Event log say? You should be able to turn-off Auditing via Secpol.msc

Does anyone have precise instructions for creating a Slipstream bootable cd
for XP-SP2? I have the article in PC Magazine, but it gets a bit confusing
on the final steps.
Thanks for any pointers.
