Hello everyone, I am thinking of slipstreaming sp2 with
xp pro and also customising the installation by adding in
extra programs, drivers etc using the features available
in the Autostreamer program that I have recently found.
According to one of the articles on this subject, you can
add any programs of your choice by including them in the
valueadd folder located in the program's temp folder
before creating the iso file. My question is, can you
also include saved windows updates as well as regular
downloaded program setup files/drivers and is it
sufficient to simply drag and drop these executable files
into the temporary folder before creating the iso and
later a bootable windows disk which should successfully
install windows, sp2 and all the other programs and
updates loaded on to it. I will be using a dvd, as a cd
rom would be too small to fit everything on. Any light
shed on this would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance

Do a Google search on slipstreaming and you should find the instructions for
using AutoStreamer.
