Slipstream SP2 Problem

Used Autostreamer to produce an ISO of my Windows XP Pro disc which was
supplied by Compaq.
Problem is, the file is 747360kb, too big to fit on a cd.
Is there a way of making the ISO smaller so it will fit on a CD

There must be extra Compaq stuff on that Compaq XP Pro CD, what folders are
on the disk?

There is a folder called 'USWXP32P_ZX' which doesn't appear on a friends'
retail version. Contains all sorts of stuff including a 'Windows' folder
with all its sub directories?? About 300mb worth of info. The rest of the
disc appears very similar, mainly just different dates against some files.

use an ISO loading program such as Daemon Tools to load the
ISO to your PC (the process is using a virtual cd-rom
drive), then use the 'cd copy' function of nero (if you
have it), to burn the ISO from the virtual cd-rom

i.e in the new compilation screen chhose 'cd copy', go to
the copy options tab, and select the virtual drive as the
source in the pull down selection area (should appear as
generic dvd rom drive or somesuch)

i hope this helps

That sounds like it may well be Compaq extras. Try leaving it out
and see how the result does. You *may* find that Compaq's setup then
gets so far and starts looking for the folder though
