slides do not reflect the masterslide!?

1)i created the first level without bullets, the second and so forth with
bullets. Yet when I look at my normal view the slidelayout is not the same.
2) I tried to find another slide layout but the ones I have to choose from
do not meet my needs.
3) I tried to change the slide layout on the masterslide but I could not.
