Slide show not working

A friend of mine can't get this "View as a slide show" to work. The only
thing that has changed on his PC was uninstalling a Canon printer. Since then
his slide won't work, you can click on it and does nothing. We have tried
restoring back to a earlier time, but that doesn't work either. Is there a
setting that needs to be set?? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
 
Hi,

To use slideshow, you must have folder options set to show common tasks
in folders.
 
Enable Show common tasks under folder options.

1.Open Folder Options in Control Panel.

• Click Start, and then click Control Panel.

• Click Appearance and Themes, and then click Folder Options.


2.On the General tab, under Tasks, click Show common tasks in folders.
