Hi,

2 Hours? Some piece of hardware on the system or the driver it is using is
not compatible with the sleep function in Vista. Only thing you can do is
either not use that mode, update all drivers, or start removing pieces to
find out which it is.

Hi, Ducky.

1. What is the make and model of your computer?

2. What version of Vista are you running?

3. What are your settings in Control Panel | Power Options?

4. HOW are you putting it to sleep?

5. HOW are you trying to wake it up?

i have just the same problem. and at the same time i have just the opposite
problem.

when i use my old 10$ PS/2 keyboard with no drivers instaled i can set the
computer in sleep mode, but it never wakes upp

when i use a never logitech USB2 keyboard wit "redy for Vista" written i big
letters on the box and the latest driver instaled the damn thing refuses to
go in to sleep mode at all.

this really pisses me off. i got a totaly clean system, with only the
drivers i need so i really see no reason for this silly problem.

Sort of the same problem here, as soon as I put on a Logitech keyboard, it
will go to sleep, but wakes up within seconds. Talk about a cat nap!
