Installed a new master drive and upgraded to xp home from
98se however now my slave drive is not accessible.It shows
up in disk management as healthy and active but change
drive letter is not available. I have a lot of data on
that drive so I don't want to reformat. Everything is in
fat32. Jumpers and cables are correct. Went from two 60gig
drives to 160 master and 60 slave.Also tried putting in
my old master in as slave and jumpering as slave and it
acted the same way.I've looking back through the newsgroup
logs and see this is a problem others have had also but
with no real resolution. Thanks for any help.
