Skip windows XP start

Dear,
In order to repair some issues in my PC, I would like to skip the start of Windows and get directly the MSDOS prompt c:\ while booting the PC.

In fact, I installed a new software on my PC. and this, denied me to loginn on windows after its starting. The idea is to accecc to the HD and to delete this SW to solve the issue.

Could you tell me how can I do.
