Size Limit for Posts

Is there a size limit for posts? I sent a rather large one awhile ago and
have not seen it pop up yet. I thought if it fit in the window it would be
ok.

If you type it, we'll take it.

Binary attachments (pictures, databases, etc.) are inappropriate and unwelcome
however.

The webpage can be flaky; I've certainly known of cases where a message was
supposedly posted but never showed up. Do note that the webpage is NOT the
newsgroup; it's just a (flawed, in my opinion) interface to the newsgroup,
which can be viewed more easily in other ways - such as by directing the News
option of Outlook Express or Windows Mail to the newsserver
msnews.microsoft.com.
 
Thanks John. I pasted the Excel spreadsheet into the message and that
probably caused the problem. Also thanks for the newsserver address; I lost
it when I re-loaded Windows and could not remember the proper address.
