sites not loading

Recently I have been unable to load certain sites. hgtv,
hsn, disney, orbitz.....these are just a few. I have done
nothing different to my system. Any ideas as to why these
will not load?

It may be a HOSTS file problem.
Look also for a file named HOSTS (no extension, could be hidden) rename it
OLDHOSTS.

This file can be created by some web accelerator programs or parasites.
