License for what? You can buy volume licenses for Windows, Office,
etc....but they are meant to be used by your company. They aren't really
meant for home users. That said, I'm not sure there's anything that would
stop you....
For all licensing questions, it's really best to call Microsoft licensing or
a reseller directly.

There is no licensing that fits that.
There are volume licensing options, but they are intended for businesses.

A Volume License or Site License would not fit with what you want to do.

Yes...anything can be bought by going to the right sales
outlet. In this case, Insight, CDW, etc., will sell volume
licenses. However, there is not much savings for just 5
users and the responsibility for providing support amongst
these 5 users belongs to one person in the group. Are you
the lucky nominee?

I very much doubt if the "shared by say 5 friends" will meet the
requirements for Volume Licensing.
Unless there is more to this group than the OP has already stated.
But that is part of the reason I referred the OP to Microsoft licensing.
