i recently tried to repair xp from the disc but instead of
doing it normally it just installed over it with all the
instructions visable on the screen.it asked me for
SISAGP.sys which i dont have so i skipped it since then i
have lost standby and hibernation,i cant play dvds, and it
will not boot up meaning i have to repair everytime.i
found the file SISAGP in windows but it is empty i really
dont have a clue,as anyone any ideas thanks alot TED
 
Sounds like you have a motherboard with SiS chipset. I would suggest
digging up the CD that came with the MB and installing the driver from
there. You could also go to the MB manufacturer's web site and download the
latest driver. Another alternative is to go to SiS web site and download
the driver. However, you must know the exact chipset model installed on you
MB.
