We saw the SiS 746's performance some time ago on the ECS K7S7AG GameUnion board, today we bring you our first hand information on the long awaited SiS 746FX chipset which promises better performance at a good cost/performance ratio. unlike its predecessor the SIS 735 and SiS 745, it uses a north south bridge architecture. The SiS746FX features an AGP 8X bridge, and a DDR-400 Memory controller. With Async memory support, it brings the performance to another level (who says you must run in Sync to get better performance ?)
