Single reply notification

Is it possible to setup a special notification when I get a reply on a
particular email I send out? Say I send out an email that is specific to a
task that I'm trying to accomplish and I send an email to tech support.
Rather than waiting around checking my box everytime I get some non-essential
email (because the new mail notification doesn't know the difference) it
would be nice if I could quickly select a way to have a special notification
when a reply to that specific email arrives.

I'm using Outlook 2007.

Tools>Rules and Alerts
 
The Rules & Alerts would work, but it's a bit awkward to get it set up...
I'm looking for something more at hand. It's sender or subject based, not
thread based.

Unless you write something or find a third-party add-in, rules are all you
have.
