I am researching several SBC's for a project that I am working on and would
like to know if anyone here could share their experiences with the different
SBC's you guys have used and which ones you guys recommend.

Thank you.

I've used the GX1-300 from Arcom and pretty satisfied overall however the
GX1-300 is a little slow.
I've tried the VIA-EDER 700mhz and does pretty good. The Advantech 5823
(Gx1-300), well, I've fought it too much already trying to get all the
drivers working and about ready to give up. I noticed others have had some
of the same results.

BTW, Advantech does have the componetized drivers, just nobody their knows
they have them and they are almost pretty much impossible to get hold of.

I'm about to try a 400 mhz Celeron 3 with 512 megs of ran and see how it
does. Nobody replied to it's performance so I guess I'll be the only one
trying it.

How about pricing. I am currently using a VIA TC6000
http://www.viavpsd.com/product/epia_tc_spec.jsp?motherboardId=201 and we pay
only $180 bucks for it!! Most SBC can't touch this board, just about every
SBC that I have looked at retails for well above that ($400 or more) and
they have less than this board. I can't figure out how the SBC manufactures
are going to compete with these guys once they come up with the nano-ITX
motherboards.

What kind of solutions are you developing on SBC's? I am just getting into Embedded (or just getting interested I guess)
