I have a delima with user access on XP pro machines. Our
store machines are setup with a restricted windows shell.
But through testing I have found that an employee can send
themselves an email with an attachment of a file (ie:
explorer.exe) as a shortcut and still access explorer
which they should not be able to do or more importantly I
do not want them to be able to do.
So my questions is: the applications that we run need to
access certain folders and files, while the user of the
computer should not have access to the same files. Is it
possible to do this in XP Pro?
currently we have only one user setup on each machine
which is basically an administrator. We want them to e
able to access a personal folder where attachments are
stored.
Thanks for any input
