J Jimmy S. Nov 29, 2003 #2 Hi Jam, Here's how to remove your Sims game: 1. Backup any saved games and/or mods to a safe location. 2. Uninstall the game using Control Panel / Add-Remove programs. or since that doesn't work: Manually delete the game folder itself. 3. Clear any references to the game leftover in your registry using: http://www.webmasterfree.com/regcleaner.html 4. Click My Computer / Rightclick the Drive & Choose Properties / Run the "Disk Cleanup..." / Next Click the "Tools" Tab and run the "Error-Checking" and "Defragmentation" utilities. -- Cheers, Windows XP MVP Shell / User Jimmy S. http://mvp.support.microsoft.com Game FAQs: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=FH;[LN];gms Visit my Zone.com / Gaming Helpsite: http://nibblesnbits.tk or Call / Contact MS Support at: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=sz;en-us;top My advice is donated "AS IS" without warranty; nor do I confer any rights. _________________________________________________________ | no uninstall file startexe conflict on xp home cant | remove all files
