i did a system restore under xp pro of a system of a customer of mine
because of a bad video driver and now the simply accounting data that had
been entered since the rester point has been lost. presumably simply
accounting stores some info in the registry as well as in the data file. is
there a way to recover this data? thanks.

Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Retore

"Undo a previous Restore Point".
