I would like to take one collum of figures and multiply them by 2 an
replace that new figure with the original. In other words I spimpy nee
a whole collum muliplied by 2.

I'll be sending this spreadsheet to someone that I do not want to kno
that i did this to the collum. I would like the new multipied figure t
simply stand alone without the formula.

Thanks to all who may help!

Let's say we are talking about cells a1 to a10. in cell
b1, type:

=a1*2

Then copy this down the ten rows. Then highlight B1 to
B10 and select:

EDIT
COPY
PASTE SPECIAL
VALUES
and in cell b1 hit ENTER. Then cut and paste this over
to cells a1 to a 10 and the evidence is destroyed as you
desired....but I hope this is not your sales forecast for
your boss!
