If one of the HDDs in Raid5 is failed, should the computer
continues to work or I have to replace it and regenerate
the raid?
Thanks.

If it's down to two HD's then you need to replace and
regenerate your created array.

Continues to work as striped array. That means slower read / write but not
significantly, generally.

If this is hardware RAID with hot-swap drives, then it continues to work and
you can replace the dead drive and run the RAID management software to
regenerate the RAID 5 arrangement.
