Simple Question - Urgent response wanted!

Dear All

I have a Internet Explorer Browser 6.02800 that repeatedly tries to submit
the url I have added to the Address. The result is that I get nowhere. The
url path appears many times in the address line, for example
www.bbc.co.uk/weather/www.bbc.co.uk/weather/ How can I stop this and ensure
that it only gets sent once?

Restoring the defaults does not work. I would imagine that it is something
in the registry. Because of the problem I am unable to check if there is an
article on the knowledge base for this problem.

IE 6.

Try this: Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Browsing
Uncheck the Enable 3rd party browser extensions

If this clears your problem then find out who the culprit(s) is/are with
these tools.
