simple question on startup

Each time I log in for the first time I have about 8 utilities/drivers
ect load up in the lower right corner of my screen (tray??). Most of
them I do not want.

How do I manually stop them from loading?

Go to Start -> Run -> MSCONFIG.EXE -> Click on Startup uncheck. Take a look
at the services tab
