Simple Invoice software

I am looking for a freeware program software to create a simple
invoice that we can use in a small shop. The invoice would contain
service supplied to our customers for repairs and also items sold to
the customer. We send out only about a dozen invoices out a year as
most of our transactions are cash and carry. I haven't been able to
find a suitable template on Word or the MS website for templates.

There are free ERP and invoicing systems using Linux+Apache+MySQL+PHP

This is alt.comp.freeware. Why would anybody be asking for anything else
*but* freeware? Also, please try to quote better. Removing the OP's
request from your reply only leads to confusion.

As for the OP's request:

Jake, have you tried OpenOffice.org and it's invoice templates? Also,
there is Turbocash, which may be registerware but registration is free.

The whole point I was trying to make was that Man-wai Chang knew he was
posting to alt.comp.freeware. What other kind of software would a person
be asking for, even if they hadn't specified it in the OP?

Since I was posting a reply to Chang, I had to reinsert the OP quote
because of Chang's tendency not to quote properly. If nobody ever points
out his or her mistakes, Chang will start getting killfiled by many of
the regulars in this group. I doubt that he or she wants that to happen.

And as for your insulting name calling, you need to grow up.

Hi Folks, thanks to all who responded with suggestions for my invoice
template. I reviewed all of your suggestions and finally have decided
to go with one of the MS Publisher program invoce templates that meets
my requirements.. In fact I have to admit that I had never opened
Publisher until now. I recently received the computer from my
daughter in law who needed a laptop for work. In reviewing the
suggested sites I found some good freeware sites and other programs I
might have need for in the future. It is nice to be back on Usenet
after a two year absence.
