hello, i have a question about windows XP home ed.: i heard a rumour that
the problem with the "simple file sharing UI" is fixed. (It can be disabled.)
Is this true?

I hadn't heard that. Just to be clear, did you hear that you can disable
simple file sharing or that there is a way to make the security tab
appear? AFAIK, neither is changed in SP2.
