Hi, I have just re installed my WinXP system, and during the install I
set a password for Administrator, then at the end of istallation I added
a user. Now I get into WinXP as the user with no login, so how do I
login as Administartor?

Thanks

Try tapping ctrl+alt+del twice at the log-in screen.

Once you have created regular user accounts in Windows XP Home Edition, you can only
log on with the built-in administrator account in Safe Mode. To start in Safe Mode,
press F8 after the graphical boot screen appears, and then click Safe Mode with
Networking.

If you have XP Pro on your computer:-
1. At the log in screen " ctrl-alt-delete " twice.
2. In the User Account, type Administrator
3. type in your password

Don't forget your password.

You can set up a password for your user account if you want to

By design, the only way to log into the Administrator account of
WinXP Home is to reboot into Safe Mode. For WinXP Pro, pressing
CTRL+ALT+DEL twice at the Welcome Screen will produce the standard
login dialog box.

Ok, thanks.
I had to log out as the user, and then do as you told me to get to the
login screen.
Is there a way of naturally logging in as Administrator from the
beginning, instead of doing it as just described.

Thanks
