Signature with logo in Outlook Express

I am trying to set up a signature in Outlook Express that has a picture logo.
I tried to create it directly in outlooks signature area that didn't work so
I created it in word but when trying to open the file in the signature area
it tells me that it is not a text doc and cannot be opened. HELP !!!
