SIGNAL FREQUENCY OUT OF RANGE

i have a red box on screen with thr words, ATTENTION
SIGNAL FREQUENCY OUT OF RANGE. most of my screen has
shifted to the right and has BIG black borders at the top
and bottem, it all happened after ending a QUAKE DEMO,i
am using an LCD MONITOR if that helps u solve my problem.

Try:
Right click on your desktop and select Properties.
Select the Settings tab and click on Advanced {at bottom}
Select the Monitor tab.

Look at the refresh rate or vertical frequency. If it is not 60 Hz, try
setting it to 60 Hz.

I have a Sony LCD with the refresh rate set to 60 Hz. The monitor supports
a vertical frequency from 56 to 85 Hz.
