sign on screen

I did not do any updates, yet, suddenly when I leave my computer for awhile
and come back I have to log on again. What has happened and how do I get it
back to the way it was? i.e. it stayed on all day. I work in my home and am
not worried about leaving it on.

Make sure that in Display Properties, Screen Saver tab, "On resume,
password protect" is not selected. There are similar options when you
click the Power button, Advanced tab.
