please help me i ned software to run this device in
windows xp prof.were can i download it because i have not
the original cd.

Game Controllers applet in Control Panel. Add device, select Sidewinder
auto-detect.
 
Open your Control Panel, click on the Game Controllers icon,
click on Add, scroll down to "Microsoft SideWinder", then
click on OK. You can also click the Customize button to
add special characteristics.

The Sidewinder (Auto-detect) is actually only for the gameport sidewinder
devices. For the Sidewinder Force Feedback 2 you will need the CD for the
keymapping software. To get a replacement CD you can go here and they should
send you one:
