Mr X

I have a good Microsoft Sidewinder Joystick which cost me an Arm and a
Leg, and would also have cost me another part of my anatomy which,
fortunately for me, but I suspect most probably for her, my Wife
decided I would not surrender UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, which now
appears to be of no use whatsoever because I upgraded my O/S to
Windows XP and Microsoft have decided not to allow this Product to
work under this supposedly, 'Best of the Best', Operating System.

My question to Bill Gates therefore, is WHY?

I buy Microsoft Products, I use a Microsoft Operating System, and then
find that you do not support me.

Maybe it IS time for Linux.

I'm sure Bill will personally read your comments on this newsgroup and stop
running the business and write a new driver for your obsolete joystick. I
think the Linux threat will make the difference idiot.

Imagine someone who cannot even spell a 3 letter word like 'Jim'
correctly, calling someone else an idiot.

You are 0 for 2 , Brainstorm ! My name isn't Jim and yours isn't Mr X ( you
need a period after Mr ). Quit while you are behind and don't make your
position worse .
lol ................ Jym

Can't spell! Limited knowledge of English grammar!

Tut Tut Tut!

I would be willing to bet that if I were to examine your Family Tree,
I would find that in many of the marriages, neither of the parties
were required to change their Surnames.

I have a Microsoft sidewinder joystick -usb which is at least three
years old which runs perfectly on windows XP home for me.

Thank you for the reply.

I must assume that there must be a difference in the Model, because I
checked the Microsoft Website and it states that the Model I have,
(had, because I turfed it, I believe it was a Sidewinder Precision
Pro), will not be supported.

Once again, many thanks for the reply.
