Side bar

Hi all,

Every once in a while my side bar disappears.
Is there a way to fix this?
Running Windows Vista Home Premium.

does it really disappear or just hides behind what is on top.
there is an option to keep it on top, but it then takes up some desktop space.

Hi again.

I downloaded a SideNote sidebar gadget. When I tried to install it, I was
prompted to download and install the SideShow NET framework, which I did.
Then I installed it. Then I went to install the SideNote gadget. Everything
went smoothly except this: I can't find it!! (the SideNote)

I went into the default gadget list (that comes with Vista Home Premium) and
there is a "Note" gadget. I was assuming that the SideNote gadget was
different, since I needed the SideShow framework to install it.

Any help would be appreciated!

'Sideshow' is slightly different from the 'Sidebar'. They're like gadgets on
peripheral devices.
