Can anyone advise me what to do ..?

Every 15 minutes or so XP gives me an alert saying "the e: drive is runing
short of space, and if i want to clean up the drive ,etc" I KNOW it's almost
full..so I need a way to switch OFF this annoying advice I keep getting.

TIA.

See the following article for info on how to turn it off:

Tom,
Obviously you can access your library a lot quicker than I.

Hi Curt,

While we're on the subject of links (How's that for a segue?), the link that
you posted --
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/winxppro/maintain/intmgmt/24_xpmsg.mspx -
- in the Windows "Messenger 4.7 - chat logs?" thread is a dead link.

I eventually am redirected to
http://www.microsoft.com/err/technet/prodtechnol/winxppro/maintain/intmgmt/14_xpip6
and get this happy and cheerful message: "We're sorry, but there is no
Microsoft.com Web page that matches your entry. It is possible you typed the
address incorrectly, or the page may no longer exist. You may wish to try
another entry or choose from the links below, which we hope will help you
find what you're looking for."

Alan

Thanks Alan,
I don't understand it, because I copied the link while I was reading the
page?? Ah, the web, I love it!

Alan,

Just tried my link, and the one you just gave me--both are the same, and
both brought up the correct page, but it took a couple tries. The server
must be really busy. :-)

I see. Well, if anyone feels my answer was less than what it could have
been, they can certainly feel free to give their own response that includes
the missing details as a separate reply. In the case of your thread, IMO,
that is what should have been done.

I'm with you!

I vaguely remember that thread. For what it's worth I didn't agree the
other poster's issue (I don't remember who it was nor do I really care to
look back to see.). Your reply was fine.

Don't look back Rock. You were in it (on my side)!
