Danny

I am all of a sudden having problems shutting down PC.
I click on start click on turn off computer and then
click on turn off. I wait and then a few seconds go by
and it restarts like if I clicked on restart button.
I know I am not losing my eye sight so can anyone tell me
what has happened. The only way I can shut down is by me
pushing in PC main button.

PS I have not added anythong new to PC so its just
something that has started recently. Any help would be
greatly appreciated

Hi Danny,

Disable everything that reads 'Wake up' in the BIOS settings. Also, I have
seen this behavior if you have a CD/DVD in the drive during a shutdown.
