When I attempt to shut down XP after running Outlook 2003
I get a message that says that Outlook.exe is running and
has to be shut down first. Is this normal? After shutting
down Outlook I still have the icon on the taskbar is this
normal? Sometimes I will click on the Outlook icon on my
desktop and nothing will happen. This all seemed to occur
after I loaded Winfax Pro 10.02 could this have done
something?

Winfax Pro is one of the programs that has a problem with Outlook and keeps
it open. Why not use Windows XP's built-in faxing capability?

I have the same problem. I have Outlook 2003 and Winfax 10.03. They are
supposed to be compatible, but when I report the problem to Microsoft, they
point me to winfax. Frankly, the winfax works fine, it's the Outlook that is
the problem.

Also, I have used the built in faxing program in XP and would rather us
winfax. I guess I will have to use winfax and give up on Outlook.

But, I really would like to use both.
